One year ago we took our biggest risk to-date. TapShack made the decision to expand from our 300 sq ft brewery in Pacific Beach to our 4,000 sq ft brewery in Barrio Logan. When we saw the big barn door open, a dream flashed before our eyes. Where most people saw an old abandoned dirty car lot, we saw home.
The day we got the keys we just ran around the building for hours doing cartwheels and dancing. There really is no better feeling than taking your first big step towards a dream. When we looked at this big empty space we saw it filled with future members of our team working hard, brewing kombucha & cold brew coffee, and having a great time doing it. We’ve carried that vision with us during every aspect of building out this brewery. Whenever we struggle or face challenges we are quickly reminded of why we are doing this.
A year later we look back & are humbled. We don’t take the time to celebrate how far we’ve come enough because our eyes are always on the horizon looking towards future goals. We are incredibly proud of where TapShack was a few years ago, where we are now, and where we are headed. Soaking in all the feels on this one year anniversary.
